Inventory valuation report

The inventory valuation report is a product-wise summary of your inventory value and can be accessed from Inventory -> Reporting -> Inventory Valuation. By default. the inventory valuation report displays the valuation at the current date. To fetch the inventory value for a past date, click on the Inventory At Date button.

Inventory valuation on receipts and delivery orders

Depending on the costing method your product categories have been configured with, the inventory value is impacted when the product enters or leaves your stock. You will be able to access this information using the Valuation button on completed receipts and delivery orders.

If the product category has been configured with Automated inventory valuation, you will also be able to access the journal entry that was automatically created as a result of the stock move.
