A guide to understanding the delivery order/transfer status

Last update: Wednesday, Mar 09, 2022

The status of a transfer helps you determine the availability of items that need to be shipped/transferred. Given below are the different statuses of a transfer and when they are applicable:

Draft: Default status of a planned transfer that been created manually.

Waiting: If your shipping policy is set to "As soon as possible" then a Waiting status indicates that no items that were initially demanded/ordered are available in the source stock location. If your shipping policy is set to "When all products are ready" then a Waiting status indicates that one or more items that were initially demanded/ordered are available in the source stock location.

Waiting another operation: The transfer can have a status of waiting another operation if a product in the transfer uses a Replenish on order (MTO) route along with either Manufacture or Buy. The transfer can also have a status of waiting another operation if you are using multi-step routes (2 steps, 3 steps, or cross-docking).

Done: The done status indicates that the items in the transfer have been successfully shipped/moved to the destination location.
