How to create a warehouse?

To create a warehouse, you must enable the Multi-Warehouse setting from the Inventory -> Configuration -> Settings.

A default warehouse is automatically created during the signup process. If you need to create additional warehouses, go to Inventory -> Configuration -> Warehouse and click on the Create button. Type a name and a short name for the warehouse. A short name can be up to 5 characters long and is used as a suffix on various inventory documents (delivery orders, receipts, internal transfers, etc). In the address field, you can select an existing address or set up a new one on the fly using the Create and Edit link. Once you have entered the required information, click on Save.

Creating a new warehouse also creates some default picking types in the Inventory -> Operations -> Overview screen.
