Automatically create manufacturing orders based on demand

Depending on the routes you have enabled for a product and the Replenishment trigger, AccelGrid automatically creates a manufacturing order where there is a demand.

For products that have the Manufactured route enabled, a manufacturing order for the additional quantities required to meet the demand is immediately triggered when either:

1. A sales order for the product is confirmed.

2. A manufacturing order for another product that contains this product (Multi-level BoM) is confirmed.

To automate manufacturing orders, go to Inventory -> Operations -> Replenishment menu and click on the Create button. Select the product and set it up as follows:

Preferred Route: Manufacture

Trigger: Auto

Minimum: 0

Maximum quantity : 0

If the product is already waiting for a replenishment (a confirmed sales order or manufacturing order), you will see a line item for the product in the list. In this case, simply click on the Automate Orders to automate the manufacturing order for future demand.
