To invoice a single order, open the order form (Sales -> Orders) and click on the Create Invoice button. The Create invoice button will be highlighted for orders with an Invoice status of "To Invoice". To learn more about the invoice status, click here.
To invoice orders in bulk navigate to Sales -> Orders and from the Filters menu select To Invoice. This will list all orders with status as To Invoice.
To invoice all orders in this list, simply click on the selection box in the table header and click on Create Invoices from the Action menu. If you wish to invoice specific orders from this list, you can do so by selecting the checkbox next to the order and then click on Create Invoices from the Action menu.
Invoices created from sales orders and saved as draft for your billing/accounting user to validate.
If any of the products in your purchase order have an Invoicing Policy of Ordered Quantities the default invoice status will be To Invoice. Please refer to this articleto learn more about Invoicing Policy.
